New Zippo lighters, for safety reasons and to guarantee that the product has never been used, are not filled with gasoline. To enjoy your Zippo purchase once you receive your shipment, we recommend ordering genuine Zippo gasoline.

The lighter is packaged in a black box and comes with a Zippo hologram confirming its authenticity.

Zippo lighters come with a perpetual manufacturer’s warranty on operation. The defect is being repaired at an authorized European service center. All you need to do is send the product to the specified address (at your expense):

The appearance of the lighter (surface scratches, color change), and trim (prints, emblems) are not covered by the warranty. Filling with gasoline and periodic replacement of the stone and wick are not performed under warranty.

The lighter will be sent back at the expense of the service, so the customer will only pay the shipping costs. The repair itself, as well as the parts used, are free of charge. The lighter will be sent back in about 8 weeks. Repair time depends solely on the post office and service in Germany.

Tips:

• Remove the cartridge for 2-3 days to let the gasoline evaporate
• Put on a cartridge
• Pack the lighter(s) carefully
• Add a card with your contact information
• Don’t try to repair the lighter yourself
