A great asset of the book are the color photos of the more than three hundred species of fungi depicted, which are most common in Central Europe. We are well aware that some items contain unrealistic photographs or simply sketches. In such a case, it is difficult to distinguish between poisonous and edible mushrooms. After all, in their natural environment they can take different shapes, forms, be bitten off or just look almost identical. The author divided the mushrooms into seven groups based on the division of the fruiting bodies.
